His hair is naturally black that is long, like goes past his shoulders long, with side swept bangs that go to the left. His eyes are a icy, standing out blue. He has the left side of his lip pierced and the code: “799768” on the left side his neck, and is planning to get more, but only has the left side of his lip pierced.
Zane style is classified as gothic emo. He wears straight-legged pants, or jeans with studded belts. He loves random t-shirts, long sleeve and leather jackets. He also likes to wear the occasional beanie and leather gloves. Under his shirt though, he wears a silver twisted cross necklace that he often brings out when he is alone; as it was his late sisters. Overall:; Zane is the artist that loves to draw, graffiti, and hopes to open his own tattoo/graffiti shop when he graduates; and other creative things like singing, but he doesn’t like people hearing him because he doesn’t think he is that good anyways. When he is at home, he’ll either blare loud rock music or read since he has two book shelves in his dorm. It is noted that Zane will always have a stock of soda and hidden candy stashes everywhere[/i].
Because he is getting into tattooing, Zane is almost one of the best listeners you will probably every meet since people often spill why they want the design and the story behind it, but he isn’t afraid to give an honest, sometimes blunt opinion if you ask him a serious question. He often thinks on his feet if he is in an altercation. Although he looks scrawny; he can pack a punch, if needed. Anyone who gets close to Zane, he will be very protective of, especially his one of his friends as a sister-type relationship with him.
On the other hand, Zane can get aggravated quickly with certain things a people. Like those preppy girls who think they are all that and everyone loves them, Zane hates you. Those who think you know everything in the world, Zane doesn’t like you. Rap and/or country music, Zane really hates that. Other things could include spicy food, he hates vegetables with a burning passion.. And the list could go one, but then this would never end.
Sarcasm can get Zane into trouble, and it has, although he tries to go for the ‘Let’s talk it out first, and if not ok, then I’ll punch you in the face and runaway’ approach. But his stubbornness is also a contributor, and if he believes you should do something that would probably help you, he’ll poke and prod until it happens. His future shop will probably be his baby and always will be, threatening his future shop and ideas shop is a quick way to end up in the somewhere randomly with a huge group of people laughing and taking pictures of you because you have been stripped of all clothing except your underwear, with only one sock, confused on what the hell happened last night and why are you out in the middle of a group of people. Because of his close relationship to his late-sister, Zane drew a portrait of the girl, hanging proudly above his bed; which people in his dorm, just don’t ask why.
And to close, Zane always has, and always will have a fear of flying since the incident since the crash when he was 17, and even if he had to go overseas, he would rather swim. Surprisingly, growing up in the desert-area, you would think he would be used to snakes and spider…nope. He will freak out, sometimes in a little girl-type squeal if the pesks are larger enough.

Overall History:; Zane Sterling was born and raised in Pheonix, Arizona, born to Demetrius Kraig, a doctor and Samantha Carmella, a flight attendant. He had a younger sister, Elizabeth Nichole, who was two years younger than Zane. Zane and Elizabeth were very close and mainly the oddballs amongst most children in Pheonix, because they were oddly pale, and were more on the darker side of the spectrum; which the often got teased for, especially Elizabeth; and the teasing got Zane into numerous fights to protect his sister.
Fast forward now, Zane is two months to turning 14, and his sister is almost 12 as well. The family was coming home from one of their father’s numerous conferences, about something medical of course, and Zane was never the one to liking flying, he hated it, and often had to be almost literally knocked out so he would become super annoying. But while they were flying back to Phoenix, something happened with the controls, ending up in the plane crashing into the desert. Out of 183 passengers and crew, Zane and a few others, including Elizabeth, survived; however Samantha and Demetrius perished. They were soon found by officials, and helped; but Zane had to fight desperately to keep his sister by his side; and not have her shipped off to a far-distant relative while he returned to Pheonix. So the decision was made that they would stay in a small town in New Mexico while they recovered.
It was in New Mexico that Zane’s gifts actually emerged as Artemis and Demeter gifted him with Rain Control and Mortal Omniscience; he often used Artemis’ power to keep tabs on his sister; but one day she vanished…and even his powers couldn’t find her. When he returned to Pheonix, everyone believed he was dead, and he had to find a way to find his sister; that is when he discovered Athenta. He sold the house, and most of the things inside it, except for a few furniture items and personal items from his family and moved to the University, vowing he would track his sister down when he had the power to do so. It was difficult for Zane to move away from the memories; but the police had no idea where Elizabeth could be.
