Gender:; Female
Sexuality:; Heterosexual

School Year:; Junior

lips are turning blue a kiss that can't renew
i only dream of you my beautiful
Hair Color:; Black
Eye Color:; Dark Brown
Height:; 5'5
Tattoos & Piercings:; Nope.
Overall:; Pey has long, jet black hair. She has pale skin that doesn't tan, and dark brown eyes that almost seem black. She is short for her age, standing at 5'5. She isn't someone who cares too much about her appearance, but she looks good most of the time. She isn't too caring about fashion or anything like that, and is, sometimes, used as a sort-of barbie doll for the daughters of Aphrodite. She does look like a daughter of Hades, though, and most people are surprised when

there's nowhere left to hide in no one to confide
the truth runs deep inside and will never die
Dislikes:; School, Her enemies, When things don't go the way she wants them to, People insulting Hades, Being one of those 'chosen' gifted mortals

Goals:; To be better than her mother, To graduate
Regrets:; Leaving her mother, The fact that she can never really be normal
Quirks:; Biting on her lower lip when she's thinking, when she's feeling upset/guilty, and when she's trying to keep herself from saying something she shouldn't.
Secrets:; The fact that the one time she spoke to Hades, he told her that he looked a lot like Bianca, who she later found out was one of his dead daughters - she suspects that that is the reason he gave her powers.
Overall:; Peyton is a loner - she's not into socializing, and being outgoing isn't something that she's able to be. She is very self-conscious, but when she makes friends, those are friends for life. She doesn't like the fact that she isn't just another mortal, and feels that the only reason that she got powers from Hades was sort-of as a replacement for a demigod daughter he once had. She likes to read, and she loves listening to music. She hates arguing and fighting, but she has a bad temper when she's really pushed, and doesn't mind tearing into someone once she's at that point. She hates liars and fakes, and she doesn't hang around anyone like that. One of her deepest desires is to be normal, though no one knows that - she thinks that she's being ungrateful, and so has never told anyone.

Parents:; Arista Grey nee Anthony - Mother, 36, Alcoholic, Unemloyed
Jacob Grey - Father, Deceased
Siblings:; None.
Martial Status:; Single
Overall History:; Peyton Elizabeth Grey was born on December 13th to Arista and Jacob Grey. Her mother was a model, and her career was starting to come to an end when Pey had been born. Being pregnant hadn't been really kind to her, and her label dumped her. Jacob was a computer technician who died three weeks after his daughter was born in a car accident. Arista turned to alcohol to erase her pain, and hired nannies to take care of her daughter. There was no love in their relationship, as Pey was looked on as the child who ruined her career. From a young age, her nannies didn't stay around long. One of them had stayed for two months before being fired - that had been the longest one had ever stayed. She was used to the constant change, though she didn't really like it. When she was about four, she saw a man with dark hair and dark eyes hang around her house, and when she was playing in the front yard one day with one of the neighbors' sons, she felt him staring at her. From then, she had felt...different. She didn't really remember the event, though, because she was very young.
She went to regular school, and felt like there were people watching her - one had been a man with one eye, but when she had told her teacher, the woman hadn't believed her. Her life continued in the same fashion - she became more aware of things as she got older, like men that seemed to have horns or one eye, and things like that. A week before her freshman year of high school, Hades paid her a visit. He told her that she was one of the mortals than he had given powers to. Right before he had left, he had said that he looked like Bianca. When she had asked him about it, all he had said was that it was a compliment, and that she should take it as one. She later found out that Bianca was one of his demigod children, and she deeply suspects that that was the only reason that she got chosen by Hades.
She recieved the message from Olympus, and was shipped off by her alcoholic mother. She was put in the Hades dorms, and went to school and trained with all the rest of the gifted kids. She didn't like being someone with powers, though, and deeply wanted to be normal. She didn't like the fact that she wasn't just another mortal, but never told anyone because she felt as if she was being selfish and ungrateful. She didn't socialize much, and just wanted to graduate so she could go back to pretending like she was just another mortal. She has a few close friends, but she's more of a loner, and likes to stick to herself. She likes to read and listen to music, and is like just any other teenager. She is training her powers, though, and hoping that graduation comes a lot faster than it seems.

falling from your grace
FIN
Beckendorf wasn't being a co-operative slave. In the beginning, he had been. He hadn't tried to escape, and he had just done what he had to. Now, he was causing as much trouble as he could manage without being killed on the spot. He was angry...he didn't even know if that was the right word. It was an odd mix of anger and depression that kept him on the egde of sanity at every moment of every day. He had, practically, his own torture squad. Some of the bigger and stronger demigods had to be the ones that tortured him, since he was no means small. He was tall and strong, and he would fight back if he knew he had a chance to win. Now, his whole right side had a constant throbbing motion, and he was tired to the bone. He still continued to irritate the servants of Kronos to the best of his abilities. Maybe one day, one of them would be Silena. Her name hurt to even think, rather than actually leave his lips. How could she have been one of Kronos' most loyal spies? That was what the other servants had been saying, as well as quite a lot of the other enslaved demigods. They had come up to him and asked if he had known, and just as he had been about to defend her, he had overheard a conversation going on between a few of the other servants about her. At that point, he had been in a haze of anger that had left his vision red. He had almost strangled one servant of Kronos when they had said that she had never loved him and that he had just been used by her, but had been pulled off by several of the other stronger servants, and had been tortured. That had been his first time. The longer that she avoided him, wouldn't talk to him, wouldn't see him, the more trouble he stirred. Sure, it wasn't the smartest of ideas, and he was pretty intelligent, but when it came to her, all of his common sense flew out the window.
Now...he wasn't so sure if they were wrong. He knew that a lot of the people that he had been close to had been getting worried about him, especially since a lot of the servants of Kronos were muttering about him under their breath, as well as a few of the others that tried to fight back, but he knew he wasn't just fighting back. He was purposely trying to stir up trouble, and if he involved others...oh well, the servants should've seen it coming. At the moment, though, he was just tired. He was in the section of the castle where the enslaved demigods stayed when they weren't working. There were only a few of them in the room, and it was no one he was really close with. He was leaning against a wall, more tired than he had ever been in his life. He, like all the others, was sick of this - he wanted to be back at Camp Half-Blood, before all of this had happened, with his arm around Silena, talking with Clarisse and Chris and being as normal as demigods could. He didn't want to work, to get punished, to be ruled over, and to deal with the silent treatment he was getting from Silena. Some of his closer friends had tried to convince him that she could've been under some kind of mind control, but according to the rumors, she had been a servant for more than a year - there was no way that what they were saying could be possible, and he knew it. He was being realistic - he was saving himself from later heartbreak...at least, that's what he told himself. With his usual scowl planted firmly on his face, he leaned against the wall, leaning more on his left than his right. He was sure that he had bruished more than one rib, and his whole right arm ached. His right leg was also hurting. Probably because of the patches of bruises lining straight down it, he thought with a mental snort. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath - it hurt slightly, but it kept him calm. He was sure that, if he had been alone in the quiet, he would've gone insane a long time ago - and in that one minute, he was glad for the other demiogds in the room murmuring to each other, not being loud in fear of being dragged off by some servant to go do something for them.
Beckendorf sighed. He stared at the wall across from the one he was up against, and looked through the window. The sky was all he could see, with bright, puffy white clouds. He knew that the people over at the roman camp were seeing the same exact thing - just as the people here were. It seemed like they were worlds...no, universes, away. How could things be so different if they were happening in the same country, to the same type of people, at the same time? He had done a lot of thinking since they had been enslaved, and honestly, he knew it was getting to him - just as it was getting to everyone else. He had already seen a few people's spirits broken, and damnit, he had already said that he wouldn't allow any of the people he was close to to get that far. Beckendorf didn't even think about himself - he was the strong one. He was the one that people leaned on - not only was he physically strong, but he was mentally strong as well. He carried people - he knew what to say to make people feel better. Even though he wasn't too social, and he didn't smile all the time, he was still one of those people that someone came to if they needed someone. Sure, that was not the way that he and Silena's relationship had started - she had saved him from an army of Myrmekes with the help of Annabeth and Percy - but that didn't even matter. He shook his head slightly and continued to stare out the window. There was nothing else better to do. He was itching to make something - a knife, a sword, some piece of armor...something. He went to stand up, to stretch, but the pain along his right side made him go straigt back to the position he had been in before. It wasn't worth it. He sighed once more. Nothing was, at this point. Beckendorf looked around the room once more, and then back out the window. They had to find a way out of here, or he was sure that he would lose his mind.
