Adam had realized that the University had one fatal flaw, and that was putting the wing of Ares next to the wing of Dionysus. Adam was not one for parties, and when it came down to studying he liked his quiet. He had planned on studying for the advanced chemistry tests all last night, but the kids in the next cabin had other ideas. The music had been so loud that it shook the windows in his room, the laughter a voices carried all through the halls and he was unable to study. In fact he was lucky that he got more than two hours of sleep.
Adam had woken up early and decided to head out into the woods to study. Sure, he could have went to the library but he didn't want to be the nerdy kid in the library studying. Somehow being in the woods made it less nerdy. Adam walked out to a a spot where a tree had fallen and sat on the ground resting his back against the tree. He sat there for a while pouring over elements, physical and chemical reactions, and distributional forms when he finally felt prepared enough to quit.
The chem. test wouldn't be until after his second class so he had plenty of free time. He leaned his head back so it rested against the large tree and thought maybe, just maybe he would get some sleep.

Bored didn't describe it. Exhausted didn't, either. It was that weird space-y feeling that she got after staying up all night. Pey hadn't been able to sleep - it wasn't her fault, it was just...some nights she couldn't sleep. She didn't know why, and she didn't know how to fix it, but now she had that weird space-y feeling that no word could really describe effectively. She shook her head as she got dressed, and eyed the clock. It was pretty early, and most of the children in the Hades wing were still asleep. None of them were really morning people, she had learned over the years. She was a night owl that was able to wake up fully in two seconds - something most people in her wing hated. She thought it was stupid for people to be jealous of her ability to wake up, but she wouldn't say that. She wouldn't want to cause drama in her own wing, something that she was kind-of good at, since she was one of the gifted. The gifted children, most of the time, were the ones that were alienated - at least, when it came to the Big Three. She rolled her eyes at the thought.
Fresh air. That would do the trick. She was sure that getting a bit of fresh air would make her feel less all over the place. She pulled on her sneakers and made her way from the dorms to outisde the university. She decided to walk through the forest - she felt really comfortable around the woods because of where she had grown up. Her house had been surrounded from the back end by deep woods. She used to wander through them until she had seen monsters in it, and then had never done it again. That had been around age twelve. It had been odd, though, being away from the woods she had loved for so long. But then, when she had come to Atheneta U, she had seen the woods that were used to play capture the flag, and had immediately fell in love with them. She was sure that she would've been more miserable here than she already was if there hadn't been those woods. When she needed to think or just felt like she needed a dose of fantasy, she would sneak into the woods and pretend like everything was okay, she was twelve and she was just a regular kid.
She was passing by one of the larger trees when she saw a guy leaning up against it with his head back and his eyes closed, surrounded by books, and raised an eyebrow. She took one light step closer, and spoke quietly. "Umm...the woods aren't the best place to take a nap." She said, and then waited for him to respond, or for her to have to walk over and poke him into being awake. She had no idea who he was, and so she hoped that the situation didn't have to get too awkward - she was just trying to be helpful, and normally, those kinds of situations never worked out for her.

Adam had barely closed his eyes for a few minutes and the boy was already asleep. It was one of those irregular sleeping sessions where your consciousness doesn't realize your asleep. You dream quickly, but when awoken you don't even realize you had been sleeping. Adam was dreaming at the moment and it was a very odd dream. He was battling someone, sword fighting with them and he was loosing. Usually in a person's dream they are the best and greatest, they can do anything they choose to. Adam apparently was so bad at the sport that even in his dreams he loss matches.
The person he was fighting against though was no one he had seen before, but oddly enough he knew that he knew him. It was a male and he was older than Adam by atleast ten years. The man didn't speak but continued to advance upon the boy. He didn't seem to be wanting to kill him, but he wasn't just sparring either. Adam had taken a blow that even in his sleep he swore would leave a mark and asked the man who he was.
The man had stepped back and smiled, before he could answer though Adam was awoken from his dream and startled into reality. A female voice had stirred him and he jumped to reality looking around quickly for the source of the voice. It was a girl, maybe his age and quite beautiful...great, and now she thinks im a moron...he couldn't help thinking to himself. He smiled a little shrugged
"Agreed, but I really didn't have any choice in the matter. Imagine living across from the world craziests party goers....Hades Wing of course.."
He grinned at his lame joke, and started to pick up this things
