Overall:;
One look at her, with her strawberry blonde hair and golden hazel eyes, one might mistake her for a daughter of aphrodite. If not for the fact that she infinitely preferred leather and studs over laces and ribbons, that is. The thing is, Melody knows she has the qualities needed to be pretty, she just doesn't want to be pretty. Because for one, she thinks it takes too much effort and she really just can't be bothered, and for another, why bother with cumbersome skirts when she can be comfortable in shorts and jeans? Melody's brain works in a very practical manner that way. Perhaps the only thing she ever bothers doing is her hair, curling it ever year. But thats only because she thinks she looks horrible in her naturally straight hair.
Her hazel eyes are almond shaped, smaller then she would like, but Melody can live with that. Heart shaped face, high cheekbones, and the whole shebang for a normal girl. What the girl can't stand however, is her tinier then most height. I mean, just look at her! She's five feet flat, half the university towers over her with barely a problem. Her eye level usually reaches the chest, or worst when it comes to talking to people. But then again, its something she has to learn to live with.
Her fingers are long, slender from years of learning the piano. But the pads of them are rough, calloused and hardened from the guitar as well. Her eyes usually sparkle with a gentle, friendly if not a slightly mischevious light, but all in all, Melody means well.

Overall:;
One would never guess what Melody had went through when she was younger, by a single glance at her. Her lips would always have a ready smile for anyone, and she's as spritely and mischevious as anyone else. The girl is happy on her own, as long as she has her piano and guitar. Yet at the same time, she craves human company. Having been left alone in her family for as long as she could remember, Melody couldn't thank the Gods enough for the presence of friends. Having not know human company before she attended Atheneta, Melody thrives the most when she's with friends. Perhaps, this has led her to be slightly posessive, and paranoid when it comes to her friends. But she keeps her insecurities all wrapped tightly under her skin, and treasures all the moment she's able to spend with her friends.
When she's alone however, she doesn't complain. Not overly much anyway. She likes working in the workshop, making little things here and there with whatever she can find. And its either that, or she'll be writing something or other, with her guitar, a paper and pencil as her companion. Half of her alone time, you wouldn't be able to get her attention, unless you tap her on her shoulder. Thats usually because she has the earphones of her mp3 player plugged in. But don't shock her too much.
Thats because Melody's very liable to be very jittery if she doesn't know who it is approaching her. Having been sexually assaulted when she was younger, she has a sort of personal bubble around her. Hardly anyone has ever managed to breach that personal bubble before, and she's very jittery about anyone touching her, unless she's known you for quite some time already. She's a sweet girl, really. She just has some of her own personal barriers to overcome, before anything.

Overall History:;
Melody was born to Robert and Annabelle Moreau, the youngest and only daughter they would ever have. And for the first three or so years of the little girl's life, there was never a happier baby then she was. Melody was pampered and spoilt, and even her brother was smitten by her. At the age of three however, a sudden heart attack took away the life of Robert Moreau, leaving Annabelle with two children to take care of, and be the sole breadwinner of the family. Leaving her with no choice, Annabelle began work as a secretary at a printing company. Most of the time, she would bring Melody to work with her. Sometimes however when work got busy, Melody would be left at home with her brother, whom was 10 years older then her.
All went well for a couple of years, until her mother met another man. His name, was Shane Alexander James, and Annabelle did so love the man. However, breaking the news to the two children wasn't easy. Melody, who was 9 at the time, was willing to accept. Edmund however, wasn't as acceptive. And it was during a fight between the nineteen year old Edmund and Annabelle, did it come spilling out that Edmund wasn't even her son, and was only Melody's half brother. He was the product of her father's marriage to another woman, before that woman had passed on, and Robert Moreau had married Annabelle Grayson. Melody was thrown in to shock, but recovered quickly enough to state strongly that it didn't matter, she still loved her brother.
Melody loved her brother to a fault, and he could do no wrong in her eyes. When her mother got married to her stepfather, the ten year old Melody stood next to Edmund, whom had slowly come to accept Shane in to the folds of the family. And for a while, all seemed well in the family.
Until one night, when Melody was fourteen. She and her brother had always shared a room, and even if she was a teenager now, and her brother well in to adulthood, she never saw anything wrong with that. But that night changed everything.
She was in her night gown already, and was lying on her bed reading her book on Greek mythology, when her brother came in to the room freshly showered, with only his shorts on. She greeted him as usual, but blinked in surprise when he suddenly sat on the edge of her bed, and peered over her shoulder, interested in whatever she was reading. A little surprised, but not over much, Melody let Edmund read whatever she was reading. However, her calm demeanour was short lived when she suddenly felt a hand creep over her breast, and started caressing her there.
Jumping up in surprise, she backed towards the wall, but still kept a smile on her face, refusing to believe her brother would do such a thing to her. Her denial was short lived, however. Edmund had gotten up right after her, and advanced on her form. The words he spoke made Melody shiver, and her image of her perfect brother ruined completely when he pinned her to the wall by her wrist. The panic she felt gave her body a sudden burst of energy, as her palms suddenly glowed a white hot heat, and she seared them to the offending man's chest, before bolting out of her room.
Too embarassed to go to even her mother, Melody ran out of the house and down the street, before ending up in a collapsed heap on the corner of the road. And that was where her future best friend and mentor found her, an old lady by the name of Clarisse found her. She took her in after hearing Melody's story, and after finding out the girl could produce heat out of thin air, slowly nurtured Melody so the blonde headed female wouldn't burn down the small apartment they both now lived in. A month in to living with Clarisse, Melody started learning to play the piano and the guitar, and around this time she sent a letter to her mother as well. Not stating where she was, nor the reason why she ran away, but just lying and saying she couldn't live tehre anymore. However, she did make a promise to her mother, to return when the time was right.
A year later, not only could Melody produce fire out of nowehere, and manipulate it to certain degree, Clarisse also realized that she could pretty much negotiate what she wanted, especially when she was singing or playing an instrument. She found this out when they called for pizza one night, and Melody being the mischevious imp she was, managed to 'convince' the pizza man they didn't have to pay for the food. By the time she was sixteen, Clarisse had done all she could for Melody, and finally decided to enroll her in Atheneta, hoping the girl could learn more from there then she could ever learn from an old lady.

falling from your grace

It was a stupid reason, really. Min Hee had had really little time to sleep lately, since she been going through multiple scripts at once. With Paradise Ranch finishing soon, the girl's manager had been pestering her to accept a new job and a new drama. That coupled with all the promotions for the drama she had been caught up with for the past few months had rendered the female unable to actually sleep at night.
Dark eyebags so normal to the people of her industry weighed her orbs down heavily. And then this morning, she's had to jump out of bed before the crack of dawn so she could be driven all the way down to Jindo to film a photoshoot with the island's famed Jindo dogs. She loved the puppies, really, but the whole island rendered her shivering. And her sheer summer outfit in autumn really wasn't helping much either.
Not to mention Min Hee didn't even get a chance to grab breakfast. EVen if she did, she probably wouldn't have eaten it. Since the night before, she hadn't been eating, not even sure why she didn't have an apetite.So she had been posing with the puppies gambolling around her, taking one or the other up to cuddle as the photographer circled around her, trying to capture her most natural shots.
And then he had asked Min Hee to walk over to where a rock was, and told her to pose there with the puppies around her feet. She did as was told of course. Perhaps it was her own clumsiness, or maybe the lack of sleep was finally catching up to her. But Min Hee had tripped on an unseen tree root, and in an effort to not harm the puppy in her arms, had turned herself and end up knocking her head on a rock.
Which was why she found herself sitting up in the hospital room three hours later, with a irritating headache at the back of her head, and the sound of beeping machines, feeling throughly annoyed at the idea of being kept in the hospital for two days with overexhaustion and the minor concussion. Sitting on the bed, Min Hee not only looked tired, but utterly annoyed. It was a good thing her manager was the one out there fielding the question, or she's liable to bite some reporters head off. And thats not exactly good publicity.
