Overall History:; When Zeus fell in 'love' with Molly Hudson, a pretty farm girl from Wisconsin, she was married and happily pregnant. When giving birth nearly killed her, Zeus tried to make sure she stayed alive. Jealous of her husband, he tried to make the child his by blessing the child with powers and hoping to impregnate Molly with one of his own. However, learning that her body was not able to hold another baby, they were crushed. Molly found out about Lance's gifts and became angry with Zeus, saying that he should have asked first. She then wanted nothing to do with the God. Lance was curious though, about what he had and thought himself a demigod for a while. He was excited about his powers and used them regularly. When he started to attract trouble, mainly the US Airforce, his mother grounded him, for good.
Through a surrogate mother. Kally Hudson was introduced into the world. Again angry that it wasn't his, Zeus attempted to give the girl powers, but Molly refused, saying one gifted child was enough. Overhearing this, Lance thought it to mean that Molly and Jacob didn't love him because of his gift and he ran away. Zeus guided him to the University, where he had been a student every since. Every once in a while, Lance will fly to Wisconsin and visit his sister, who is jealous and in awe about her brother's powers.
